Distinguish Lions and My Fellow Lions, it is my distinct privilege to introduce to you all, District Governor Karen Koh Eng Yan or more popularly known as “Karen”.
Karen joined Lionism in 1992 as Charter Member of Lions Club of Tanjung Aru.
She has served in various capacities at club level and was President in fiscal year 1997/98. She owns the proud record of serving in the Board consistently since she joined as a Charter Member in 1992. At District level, Karen served as Cabinet Secretary in Fiscal Year 2003/04, Region Chairperson in Fiscal Year 2004/05 and District Chairperson of Youth Exchange, Leo Clubs, Membership and leadership among others.
On the Leadership Development front, she is a District Trainer since 1998; attended Senior Lions Leadership Institute in Pattaya, Thailand 2001 and seminar speakers at no less than 7 District Conference and 3 MD Lions Convention.
For all her contributions to Lionism, Karen received numerous awards from the Club, District and International, including 100% Club President Award, 100% Attendance Awards, District Governors’ Appreciation Award and numerous IP Certificate of Appreciation. She is also a Melvin Jones Fellow.
By profession, Karen is the Company Director of a Shipping and Logistics Company. She is a member of several Associations, namely the Kota Kinabalu Forwarding Agents Association and the Sabah Shipping Agents Association.

各位獅友，非常榮幸能有機會為大家介紹我們的區總監-許穎燕師姊，我們習慣叫她Karen!
她 擁有絕佳的睿智與勇氣，早在1992年加入丹絨亞魯創會會員時，就已經奠定了她的領導方向，並由獅子會的基層服務開始，逐步擢昇至區內閣成員。十七年來， 除了曾任內閣各項職務，更是屢屢事必躬親地參與各項工作；卓著的績效不僅有目共睹，出類拔萃的表現更是後生晚輩望其項背與追隨學習的對象!
她為人正直，行事剛中帶柔，獨當一面的氣魄與魅力更是令眾人懾服。在積極參與獅子會活動的同時，熱力四射的正面積極態度深深感染每個參與者；更帶著令人無法抗拒的親和力與幽默感，隨時隨地將歡笑散播給眾人!
外表嬌小的她，説起話來卻是鏗鏘有力!言簡意賅的演說每每令人聽來津津有味，並會禁不住地再三回味!因著她的用心與認真負責，凡事只要經過她的運籌帷幄，必能得到完美的呈現。
