Leo Club Awards Criteria

2009-2010

A) Planning Award

Following requirements must be fulfilled:

Annual Plan of Action

Submission of an Annual Plan of Action for Fiscal Year 2009-2010 which covers the following:

  1. Monthly Meeting Schedule
  2. Leadership Practices
  3. Major Service Project
  4. Major Fund Raising Project

to DG/1st & 2nd VDG/CS/RC/ZC/DC Activities/DC Leo Club/Leo Advisor/School Faculty Advisor on/before 13/7/2009

B)   Leo Outstanding Club Award

Following requirements must be fulfilled:

1.      Installation/Joint Installation of Board of Directors 2009-2010

To participate Mass/Regional/Zonal Joint Installation with at least 75%

attendance of Board of Directors and majority of Club Membership and

to be held no later than 15/9/09

2. Induction of New Member[s]

1.    All new members must be properly inducted.

2.    Orientation for new members is a must.

3. Leo Monthly Activities Report

E-Submission to reach DG/1st & 2nd VDG/ZC/DC Leo Club/DC Activities & Bulletin/Leo Advisor/School Faculty Advisor on/before the 26th of the current month.

4.     Report of A Successful Leo Club Project or Activity [Leo – SPA]

E-Submission to LCI/DG/1st & 2nd VDG/ZC/DC Leo Club/DC Activities & Bulletin/Leo Advisor/School Faculty Advisor on/before 26/9/2009, 26/12/2009, 26/3/2010 and 26/6/2010.

5. Club Meetings

1.         At least one Board of Directors meeting per month with majority

attendance, and attendance of Leo Advisor/Lion member[s] from sponsoring Lions Club .

  1. At least one General/Fellowship meeting per month with majority

Membership’s attendance, and attendance of Leo Advisor/Lion member[s] from sponsoring Lions Club.

6.      Leadership Practices

To organize at least 1 Leadership, Seminar/Orientation/Workshop with attendance of substantial Leo membership including Leo Advisor/Lions Members.

7.      International Leo Day

Minimum participation/involvement of 50% membership.

8.      Annual Leo Club Officers & Membership Report [Leo 72]

Submission to LCI/DG/1st & 2nd VDG/ZC/DC Leo Club/DC Activities/Leo Advisor/School Faculty Advisor on/before 20/4/2010.

9.      Proper Dress Code

Members adhere to appropriate dress code.

C) Leo Excellence Club Award

To fulfill Outstanding Club Award requirement and 5 of the followings:

1.      Major Service Activity

To organize meaningful Major Service Activity with 50% membership involvement/participation.

2.      Major Fund Raising Project

To organize a Major Fund Raising project with 50% membership involvement/participation.

3.      Partnership with Sponsoring Lions Club

1.      Membership participation in at least 3 Lions Club Projects/Activities.

2.   Members attending at least 2 meetings of sponsoring Lions Club.

4.   Leo Camp

To organize/participate Leo Camp with substantial members attendance.

5.         Leo Forum

10% membership registered by 15/4/2010.

6.         Public Relation

To fulfill either one of the following:

  1. Club Bulletin

Publication of minimum 2 issues

  1. Website/Blog

Maintain and constant update of club’s website/Blog

7.         Lions Protocol & Decorum

Proper and correct conduct of Lions Protocol and Decorum at all times when dealing with District Governor, Lions Dignitaries, Lions and amongst Leo.
